There is an age-old tradition in India setting up makeshift stalls along the roadside to serve the wayfarers with a refreshing drink, be it the water or buttermilk held cold in earthen pots.
With Amma’s blessings the Ashram sprung into action and set up a stall on the roadside in front of the Ashram to serve the passersby from sunup to sundown; but with an expanded option of refreshments besides the cold water, ranging from buttermilk, sharbat, and lemonade.?

The wonderful program that Amma initiated to serve the refreshments to the wayfarers and the passengers of vehicles that pass by the highway continues with renewed vigor as Amma herself joined the holy task. The blessed visitors to the Ashram get the golden opportunity to participate as well; ?
