I am behind in posting two evening Paada Puja visits that happened a couple of days ago to Smt Shirisha & Raju Chamarthi, and Smt Bindu & Suresh Mantrala, both from Cupertino, California. I will post them at a later date.
For now, let me take you to Amma’s next stop in Cupertino, California — Smt Lakshmi & Sri Suresh Pyda’s home. Both of the along with their thee sons (a la “My Three Sons”), Srikar, Srivastava, and Srivishnu were planning long for this day of Amma’s arrival. They do have a couple of special events planned over the week of Amma’s stay, i.e, Panchalu ceremony (passing of age) and Navavarna Puja.
The front of Pyda’s home was decorated with Rangoli and floral garlands, and the Pyda’s welcomed Amma with Poornakumbam, washing Amma’s lotus feet, and spreading floral petals along the path leading Amma to a well decorated seating in their family room 

Typical to most Amma’s visits, Amma first visited the Pydas’ shrine room. Amma took a close look at their precious spiritual belongings including a few that Amma blessed with them over the years.
Next, everyone followed Amma as Amma took a walk through the kitchen and to the large backyard examining the vegetable garden, and the orange tree in the front fully laden with fruit.

“Vasamma Thalli, Vandanamamma” (Salutations Oh! Beloved Mother Vasamma) (వాసమ్మ తల్లీ, వందనమమ్మా…) is the refrain from our favorite closing offering of the Devotional Program — truly expresses our love for Amma with much gusto! It is on the backdrop of Amma’s seating.
