June 25, 2016 –  At Smt Lakshmi and Sri Ram Gubbala’s home, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

After the morning worship program at Bindu and Janardhan Pyda’s home we followed Amma to Smt Lakshmi and Sri Ram Gubbala’s home just a mile away right in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
The Gubbalas have made much preparation for this dream day in their life eagerly awaiting to receive their Beloved Amma by sprucing up their home with much love and devotion.
As we arrived at the home the family along with many of their devotee friends welcomed Amma with traditional Poorna Kumbham accompanied by the sacred vedic chanting.

Lakshmi and Ram have lead Amma to a well decorated room upstairs especially prepared for Amma’s stay which they called the “Prema Kuteeram”, roughly translated “Love Nest” as they poured all their love in preparing the room for Amma, the love of their life

What followed shortly was an impromptu satsang, with Amma asking some less known facts and characters of the holy epic Ramayana. Amma also encouraged the assembly to pose some riddles or share some provers; and the fun went on till the lunch time.

Alka, (sister of Gita Goyal and Dr. Shobha Sharma of the Bay Area, California) and her husband John came from Connecticut to have Amma’s darshan, driving for nearly 3 hours; and, Amma received them much love and affection.

June 27, 2016 – Amma and the entourage have started the day very early around 5 AM to the Logan airport joined by the Boston devotees and a few visiting devotees from Atlanta, GA who came to bid goodbye to Amma who was leaving to the eagerly awaiting devotees in California Bay Area.

 

June 23, 2016 – Smt Bindu & Sri Janardhan Pyda’s home in Shrewsbury, Mass. Bindu & Janardha were joined by their beautiful daughter Rajyalakshmi and their darling son Jay in welcoming Amma with the traditional Poorna Kumbham and ceremonial umbrella.

As Amma took the well decorated seat arranged in the main hall Pyda’s daughter beautifully rendered two carnatic devotional compositions.

Beautiful Altar set up includes tge Crystal Srichakram and the sacred Salagram that Amma created for the family on previous visits.

A brief Bhajan session followed before Amma retired to the private room set up for Amma’s stay.

Pydas extend a very loving welcome to Amma with two of these large beautiful banners hanging on the walls, either side of the Altar.

June 23, 2016 – Evening Paada Puja & Bhajans  at Dr. Vasantha Arakali’s home in Shrewsbury, Mass.

As Amma entered the home the hostess lead Amma to the family’s Shrine Room.

And once seated in the area set up for the evening program, Amma called Dr. Vasatha’s daughter to bless her by creating a beautiful Ganesha ring.

Evening program began with the Paada Puja , followed by Bhajan Session. and concluded with Mangala Arathi 

En route on the wall of the corridor Amma notices the beautiful picture of Vyasa dictating the Mahabharata as Sri Ganesha scribes the great epic.

A COURSE IN MIRACLES — You may recall that earlier a couple of days ago Amma blessed Smt. Nagalakshmi Gourisetty with a pair of diamond earrings. Nagalakshmi found that the right earring was not sitting well and kept slipping out; Amma noticed it as well. This evening Amma called her to the adjoining room and asked her whether he should fix it, and had her remove it and in an instant created the new one which fit perfectly. The issue was that the original pair was both were of left ear, the replacement is of the right ear — Divine “mistake”? Or Divine “proof”? You be the judge.

In a private room where the family lovingly served Amma with the delicacies they specially prepared for Amma. While preparation to serve dinner were going on Amma created the Narmada Lingam for Dr. Vasantha’s nephew.

Just as Amma stepped out of the home to leave the host family and the devotees followed Amma to the car. Now it is the turn of Dr. Vasantha’s son to receive that fragrant sacred Vibhuti. 

June 23, 2016 – Morning worship program at Smt Bindu & Sri Janardhan Pyda’s home in Shrewsbury, Mass.

SPECIAL KUMARI PUJA is scheduled for this morning following the regular morning worship program. In this special worship nine Kumaris or young girls represent-ing Goddess Shakti are worshiped. The young girl is invited a mat or stool is given to sit. Then her feet are washed – this is known as padyapuja. While performing the ritual one symbolically considers the young girl as Goddess Shakti. Then she is offered a sumptuous meal on a banana leaf – in many regions kheer (a sweet from rice and milk) is offered as it is considered a favorite of Goddess Durga. Next she is given new clothes and other cosmetic items for beautification before bidding adieu.
Late last night Amma asked to bring all the items to be presented to the Kumaris and personally inspected them to make sure that all the items are included and are of good quality. Amma did a similar review the night before the Navadurga Puja of all of the items to be presented to the Navadurgas. Amma is very meticulous in attending to every detail of these sacred ceremonies.

The nine Kumaris (Goddesses) with their younger brother Pothuraju showering their blessings on the Pydas for their ardent devotion in invoking them with elaborate ceremonial worship. As the concluding act of showing their gratitude to the Divinities they were taken to private chambers where they were sumptuously fed with delicacies.

Sri Sandeep Dhar with his wife and daughter Sharika drove nearly 11 hours to come to Boston, MA and have Amma’s Darshan and receive the blessings.
Amma blessed the family and spoke very highly all the members of the family including his sisters, brother and parents. Amma calls Sandeep’s mother as “Jagadamba” and gives much credit to for the proper upbringing of the children, as all of them are not only successful financially with good careers but also very spiritually centered.
When blessing Sharika Amma underscored the worldly success, spiritual orientation, and strong family bond; and, advised her to live up to the family’s heritage. Amma also created a Rudraksha bead and asked to wear it for protection. Sharika was reluctant to have her picture taken with the unique blessing of Rudraksha bead. But with my coaxing and Amma’s approval she yielded; but, unfortunately she had her palm closed which I have noticed only later.

The evening ended with a cake cutting ceremony one in honor of Amma’s visit and the other in celebration of the hostess Bindu’s Birthday.

As loving and all forgiving Amma is occasionally Amma gives stern looks to bring the necessary change in us for our own spiritual good.

Yesterday, Prakash was bestowed the honor of being the Beloved Pothuraju (younger brother of Goddesses) in the Kumari Puja Ceremony. This morning as we are getting ready to leave Pydas home to Gubbalas, Amma had a prank pulled on Prakash for holy fun. Amma directed Ram Gubbala who came to receive Amma to garland him and embarrass him.  It was done well with an element of surprise.

June 21, 2016 – Evening,  just arrived in Boston, Massachusetts. At the airport devotees welcoming Amma and the entourage to Boston, Massachusetts.

Soon we were headed to the home of Nagalakshmi and Balaji Gourisetty home in Boxborough, MA where many devotees were eagerly awaiting Amma’s arrival. Amma was welcomed with traditional Poorna Kumbham accompanied by Vedic Chants.

Amma was taken to the private quarters that the hosts have tastefully decorated, and what followed after Amma and tge entourage was served with a delicious lunch was the true desert of spiritual talk from Amma and some probing questions and spiritual queries.

The evening program got underway beginning with Paada Puja followed by the Bhajan session and concluded with Mangala Arathi.

Amma was truly pleased with the genuine enthusiasm and devotion of the large gathering of devotees that assembled. Their sincerity was inspirational and moved Amma to start another spiritual dialogue. At the end Amma blessed everyone distributing peanuts.

June 22, 2016 – Morning worship program at Smt. Nagalakshmi and Sri Balaji Gourisetty’s home in Boxborough, MA

Then it happened — I just momentarily stepped out and I learnt that Amma called the hostess Smt. Nagalakshmi who was sitting in the worship and blessed her with the beautiful diamond earrings. No need to explain the reaction of Smt Nagalakshmi for it is written all over her face!

With Mangala Arathi the morning worship program came to a close.

A special event is scheduled to follow the regular morning worship program – The Navadurga Puja, involving nine forms or aspects of the Divine Mother.

As the Navadurga Puja just got underway, a young man named Adhirath was blessed by Amma with a beautiful Narmada Lingam. Amma instructed the young man to keep talking to the Siva Lingam — talk to Siva as part of his Sadhana

The day is still too young and now it is the good fortune of a young man named Ravi to receive from Amma the unique Rudraksha bead directly from the Rudraksha mala of Lord Siva himself. Amma also pronounced that he will become wealthy and serve the society and asked him to wear it all the time. Dr. Pyda witnessed a similar manifestation from Amma during the recent  Malaysian visit told the young man how unique it is and how blessed he is to receive it.

As the few devotees who gathered at Amma’s Lotus Feet to do a bit of Paada Seva massaging Amma’s feet, Amma challenged them to exert all their strength in doing the massage. Finding them exhausted and taking pity Amma asked them to stop and take rest; and, Amma was not bothered a bit!
Amma then let the few seated around to smell her hands and we all smelt that familiar Vibhuti fragrance. It is only a half-an-hour later with a quick swirl of the hand Amma created Vibhuti and gave to the young men who did the Paada Seva. What a precious payout!
And then as Amma took a short break the young man who accompanied Amma and Dr. Srinivas Pyda who returned with Amma had their filled with Vibhuti as well.

The closing part of the Navadurga Puja with the Ladies worshiped representing the nine forms of Durga are receiving Arathi and blessing the devotees.

After resting for a bit, Amma entertained the devotees by having groups of children, young adults and Adults in playing the favorite game of “Finding Sitha” – a game based on key characters of Ramayana. While most of the time the participants failed to identify the one who has the piece of paper identifying them as Rama, every time the all-knowing Amma accurately identified and signaled a hint to the players, bringing much amazement and peels of laughter.

Amma soon got ready for the evening program to go to Grafton, MA. Finding a few minutes time before leaving Amma took a stroll in the large yard of the Gourisetty’s, admiring the natural beauty and the fauna that included wild rabbits and squirrels. Many of the devotees followed Amma giving them the much desired photo oppertunity.

June 22, 2016 – Evening Paada Puja & Satsang at the home of Srilakshmi & Srini Reddy’s home in Grafton, Massachusetts.

We are back at the primary host Gourisettys home, and as Sai Krishna and Shravya followed Amma into Amma’s room along with their mother Nagalakshmi, and Amma blessed Sai Krishna with a beautiful Narmada Lingam and Shravya with that sacred fragrant Vibhuti. What a wonderful way to end the day already spiritually surcharged with sacred ceremonies.

Beyond the love for Amma that they share Smt Nagalakshmi Gourisetty and Smt Prasuna Reddy feel a special bond wearing the unique diamond earrings that Amma gifted them.

June 20, 2016 – Evening, Amma was extended a hearty welcome by Smt Valluru Suneetha and Sri Valluru Balarami Reddy with traditional Poorna Kumbham to their home in the nearby township Suwanee, Georgia where they live their handsome sons Bharat and Sanjay. The family is closely related to the famed late Sudarshanamma in memory of whose great loving service to Amma and the Ashram one of the building at the Ashram is named.

This concludes Amma’s program in Atlanta, Georgia, and we are scheduled to head to the Airport within the hour to be with the devotees in Boston, Massachusetts.

June 16, 2016 – Premalatha and Murali are overjoyed to welcome Amma with traditional Poorna Kumbham to their home in John’s Creek, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Their children Siddharth and Sruthi joined them in extending a hearty welcome to their Beloved Amma.

Amma had a little lunch after the long starving journey and took rest before the joining the evening worship program.

After enduring a 4-hour flight delay in Chennai, which caused the missing of connecting flight in London, and having to stay over in Holiday Inn in London, Amma finally arrived on Atlanta at 1:40 PM, over 12 hours behind schedule. We should all be grateful for the troubles Amma went through to please her children in the US.

The evening ended with the Surapanenis inviting Amma to their shrine room where they set up the dinner of special delicacies that they especially prepared for Amma. For the Surapanenis it was a dream come true and reaping the fruits of the prayers of their ancestors — for, Srinivas Babu’s grandmother who was a staunch devotee of Sri Sitha Mahayogini would regularly visit Penumatsa by walk to have the Divine Darshan. And, Amma accepting their humble offering in their shrine room particularly after such an arduous journey was overwhelming and a show of Amma’s abundant grace.

Amma said that God is truly pleased to hear the singing that arises from the heart, as Sanjeev’s mother rendered few melodious devotional songs. 

We were all gathered in Amma’s room and sharing that delicious “Banginpalli” variety of Mango with Amma, when to the pleasant surprise of Premalatha a wonderful diamond ring appeared in the mango pieces that Amma served her.

Pallavi’s twin daughter gets special love and playful attention from Amma. Amma also noted how the children are pure and innocent, and recalled a very popular old Telugu movie song “Pillaloo Devudoo Challaani Vaare” — children are just like God.

What followed then was sumptuous lunch and satsang with Amma.

June 18, 2016 – Morning worship program at Premalatha & Murali’s home in John’s Creek, Georgia.

The morning worship program went on as usual, but today is in no way business as usual. Smt Premalatha and Sri Murali and their bright young children Siddharth and Sruthi are truly blessed to be undertaking the most sacred ceremony of Chandi Homam in the presence of the very Divine Shakti herself, our Beloved Amma. The elaborate ceremony that invokes the Universal Divine Mother is assured to bless and bestow those who undertake this sacred Yajna with plenty for here and hereafter. The family has embraced Amma’s suggestion to undertake the sacred ceremony with much zeal sparing no expense to do it in strict adherence of scriptural guidelines.

Preparations for the Chandi Homam went on all yesterday into the wee hours — making garlands, mango leaf thoranams and a variety of dishes for offering in the sacred homa fire and oblations.

Premalatha and Murali, assisted by the priest began the prayers initiating the sacred Chandi homam ceremony.

Amma arrived to get seated near the Yoni Homa-gunda set up under a well set tent in the backyard.

While the ceremonial prayers are going on inside the home it was a wonderful opportunity to get some clarification and answers to the burning spiritual questions to those lucky few who have assembled.

The Chandi Homam began with Amma’s blessings.

Blessed indeed is the family to have had the great fortune of Amma Herself preside over the sacred ceremony and guide every detail of the Homa with authentic precision.

Today a profound miracle and blessing that Amma bestowed on a devotee. It was the most hectic day with the scheduled major event of Chandi Homam. Everyone was scurrying around helping with the preparations for the Homam including the lucky devotee Priya Surapaneni whom Amma calls endearingly as Lakshmi. As Priya approached Amma to take Paada Namaskaar we saw that familiar circular motion that Amma makes when bringing out a creation. And Amma signaled me to take the picture but as I fumbled to unlock the phone alas it was too late. In a flash a pair of beautiful diamond earrings appeared and Amma gifted them to Priya. Obviously overwhelmed with the love and grace that Amma showered on her Priya was grateful and thanked Amma for the kindness. Not able to contain the joy she went around showing the unique diamond earrings to the devotees with the only regret that her husband was not present to share in this once in a lifetime experience. Before the night ended Arpitha’s aunt Uma received the blessing of the sacred Vibhuti from Amma.

Day was concluded with a sweet lullaby sung by Sujatha to our Beloved Amma.

June 19, 2016 – Morning Worship Program at Premalatha & Murali’s home in John’s Creek, Georgia.
While the preparations for the morning worship and abhishekam are proceeding in the main hall, Amma proceeded to the kitchen to prepare the morning breakfast. And, what a delicious preparation that was with the “leftover” rice, loaded with cut fruit pieces of apple, cherries, grapes, and dates. What a precious gift on the “Fathers Day” from the Mother of All, the Divine Mother herself. Many of the devotees around the world have seen and tasted the delicacies of Amma’s extraordinary culinary skills. Like a true mother Amma can magically make outstanding tasty preparations of any vegetable or fruit, and mouthwatering sweet dishes in a jiffy.

Sri Seshagiri Rao garu, a very devout scholar well versed in Vedic traditions and Religious ceremonies is a member of Amma’s entourage whose sincere efforts to attend to every detail of the daily worship programs, his patience, his humility, and his one pointed devotion to Amma and her Mission are highly valued, making Amma’s visits that much more pleasant and spiritually enriching.

Beaming with joy Sri Adusumilli Srinivas who is flanked by his wife Smt Lakshmi emerged from Amma’s Room after Lakshmi received the sacred Vibhuti from Amma, and Srinivas received the smearing of Vibhuti on his face.

“Pacchi Pulusu”, a special delicacy of South was the fervent prayer of Murali and God came to fulfill his wish; Amma made it for lunch. “Pacchi” which means raw or uncooked since the curry is not cooked

June 19, 2016 – This evening Smt Sudha & Uday Tata invited Amma to their home in Duluth, Georgia.

The primary Satsang Program for the evening was at Jithendra & Gita’s home in Snellville another township near Atlanta, Georgia. Their children Asha and Nitin Sai along with Jithendra’s parents who are visiting from India joined in welcoming Amma

The family was blessed to start the evening program with Paada Puja, followed by Bhajans and the evening program concluded with Mangala Arathi

Amma blessed with the assembly with a brief spiritual session — topics discussed: significance and benefits of Chanting Rudram, crimes and atrocities done in the name of religion, and message for Fathers’ Day.

Late last night after we returned to the home of Premalatha & Murali Amma presided over a little cake cutting ceremony in honor of Amma’s Birthday (June 11th), and the Fathers’ Day; the hosts children Siddharth and Sruthi were blessed with the opportunity to ceremonially cut the cake.

Soon Amma was gathering forces and guiding them to prepare Almonds and Cashews for making “Chakra Pongali”, a sweet delicacy made with green gram (a pulse), rice, jaggery and a generous amount of ghee (clarified butter), almonds, cashews and raisins. Amma herself was in the kitchen stirring the pot to make this special Naivedyam (offering to God).

Amma helps in doing the Alankaaram (decoration) of the idol of Sri Rajarajeswari Devi after the morning ceremonial Abhishekam.

With Mangala Arathi the Morning worship program came to a close.

We are back into the kitchen with more of Amma’s culinary escapades — this time it is Vadiala Koora (curry with dry wafers), and Menthi Pappu (Dhal curry with Fenugreek leaves).

Amma already prepared a different version of Pacchi Pulusu; now made with lemon juice instead of tamarind juice.

Just before lunch there was a surprise impromptu Satsang that Amma blessed the small assembly of devotees which gathered at noontime. Amma read out pages 85 &  86 from the sacred book “Sathyatma Jnana Yoga Sadhana Moksha Grandham” penned by Penumatsa Sri Sitha Mahayogini, a book that distills the highest advaithic spiritual truths based on her own personal journey and will serve as a guide to serious spiritual seeker. For several devotees who tried to do independent reading of this book it felt like an insurmountable task to grasp these highest truths which felt somewhat abstract. But when Amma read out these passages even with only limited elaboration the concepts presented seemed strikingly clear.  That is because the very author is walking us through these passages of her own experiential wisdom.

For Premalatha and Murali and their lovely children Siddharth and Sruthi that was “sadly” the last Worship and the last day of Amma’s stay at their home. But, the memories that this stay of Amma with them are going to stay with them forever. The family is truly blessed!

 

May 25, 2016 – It is the early morning hours of May 25th at the Ashram, Amma and a small entourage comprising of Dr. Srinivas Pyda and TN Shankar are getting ready to leave to Chennai airport. The Malaysian devotees have extended a loving welcome to Amma to come and bless them. During the visit, Amma will be primarily stationed in Kuala Lumpur and will be returning to India on June 2nd. Although the Ashramites and the local devotees are very much familiar with the routine of Amma’s departure from the Ashram, goodbyes are still very hard.

Sree Harry and Ambica along with their three beautiful and talented daughters Thanisha, Dhevina and Varenya were eagerly awaiting for this day to hearty welcome Amma.

After the morning prayers and Bhajans, Amma got up and walked around Sree Harry & Ambica’s altar. The Lord is pleased that the flower garlands were fresh and worn around the deities correctly bringing out the divine demeanors. As Amma stepped down the altar, he called out sister FaFa as “Elizabeth’s friend” and blessed her with hand full of holy vibhooti. There is SriHarry around and he gets his hands full too. Next it is the turn of the accomplished (can you believe that the three daughters without any help from any of us or their parents conducted the Srichakra Laghu puja including Khadgamaala Stotram  starting with Sankalpam to Sampoornam per agama and importantly with full of devotion and confidence) youngest daughter of Sree Harry & Ambica, beaming Verenya, to have the Vibhooti smeared all over her face.

Right after morning prayers, we all sat for breakfast. Yummy Dosas and upma are served with coconut chutney, mulugukai-pulusu and tomato chutney, thanks to Ambica garu and party.

Amma asked the SriHarry children, what do they want Amma make today. They had unanimously opted for bread pudding – they apparently are all transported to the time Amma visited them last time and made this bread pudding, the taste would not go! It is settled – bread pudding is what Amma would make. Amma wasted no time and the creator of Nala & Bheema stormed into the kitchen, asking for loaves of bread, gur, cloves and cinnamon, pumpkin, onions, garkick, ginger, etc.

It dawned on me that I have finally a useful role to play – translate Telugu names of these into the English equivalents to the extent I know. Ambica garu is now flooded with demands for ingredients mentioned, vessels – small ones would not do, whatever Amma makes it has to be big – making these, cutting those, mixing this and what not. But she is no rocky!  She took help from her brother Ganesh garu from Singapore, Mother Smt Siva Gami Sundari (lives across the house), her sister’s eldest son, Shilen (lives next door) and a lot of other devotees.

Ganesh could not believe his own eyes that so many spices, ghee in good potions, gur and sugar are being used. Ganesh’s expression for whatever Amma is making is so “rich”. 10 minutes down the line we realized that Amma is making actually making 3 items – vegetable rice, pumpkin curry (Amma calls it kooshmandam curry) and bread pudding. With neither Prasuna garu to lead/suggest-to Amma, nor Jhansi to anticipate Amma’s next move, Ambica garu did her best and procured quite a few items in a very short time with her lineup of circle of kith and kin and friends. As usual, everyone thought they could capture Amma’s recipe. But No! – it is all so fast, done in parallel, no measuring spoons other than Amma’s eyes! Can you believe that sweet bread pudding has lime juice in it! The whole saga did not take that long – at most 45 minutes. All three items are ready. Amma is right back for a satsang before lunch. But the children would not wait to have their bread pudding. Dessert first – it is served. People had bowls full. Taste is – well you need to eat …

Following a very revealing satsang on Amma’s “game”, stories on moksha, we all had Lunch. Boy we made the vegetable rice in the biggest vessel we had, it is all over in no time. So is pumpkin curry. It was indeed a divine meal.

Evening kumkuma puja started as scheduled and Amma gives a glance approval of the method of puja done by Sriharry family.

After completion of puja, Sriharry sat in front of Amma while wonderful bajans were rendering, Amma called Sriharry and materialized a ring and put on his right hand finger. Sriharry surprised with no words to express ….  Sriharry saw Amma ring materialization and how Amma made ring exact size to his finger. When Sriharry looked at Amma face, Amma smiled and told I don’t know.

Today is no ordinary day. In the evening, before the bhajans started, SriHaary garu introduced to Amma his sister-in-law, ie his brother’s wife, Smt Saraswathy Kandaiah or what Amma calls her fondly as “Guatam’s Mom”. She was ecstatic to see Amma, wanted to touch Amma’s feet and do paada seva. Amma said yes. The moment she touched Amma’s feet, Amma was happy and revealed the facts of her previous birth. As the private conversations continued, it is clear to us all that were around. That Gautam’s mom is no ordinary soul and Amma extoled her to connect with the previous life and continue the divine communion and internal communication she has been having with Lord Siva.

This vibhuti is from kailasam…. Amma added that it is the wealth! We all went to evening prayers, bhajans, followed by the bharatamnatyam performance of the eldest daughter of SriHarry, the accomplished Tanisha – she starting her law degree this September and giving her aarangetram this November after 10 years of intense learning – Amma started going upstairs followed by
Gautam’s mother said she wanted to see Kailasam. Amma said, no need to go to Kailasam, as Siva himself is coming to her – there you go. She gets a beautiful Narmada Lingam.
Not done yet … Amma walked a few feet to family room above, sat in the Aasan for Amma, stretched Amma’s hand and materialized patchalu, not one, but four!!! – One for each in her family.

The day is still young. Like every day, jola-paata(lullabies) are sung around 10pm Amma rewarded them – one with a spatika maala and another with lotus seed maala. See the beaming faces below.

Today is Ambica’s brother, Ganesh gari wedding anniversary. They are the blessed couple to do the evening mangala harathi!

Today’s evening  was with full of surprises. Bright sunshine appears on their face those who got Amma’s gift.

May 28, 2016 – The day started with Ganapathi puja followed by Lalitha homam by chief priest Muthu Kumara Gurukal, with his followers. Amma glance’s the method of puja and approved. The chief priest Muthu Kumar introduced himself to Amma. Amma blessed him with pleasant smile.

Homam started by chief priest at 7.30 am and continued with prescribed method and followed by offering of gee, different fruits (jack fruit, guava, vada and many more items) dipped in gee and honey, some of them directly offered to god of fire , so the whole world be happy.

The Lalitha homam was finally completed by offering different types of fruits (mango, jack fruit, guava, etc.) and a sari which is shown to Amma for blessing.. The fruits and Saree offered to the Lord Agni. The chief priest with mantras offered to Agni. This brings to an end. Veda mantras chanted and abishakam to lord Ganesha, Sri Chakram, Rajarajeswari Devi by Sriharry, followed by chief priest Sri Muthu Kumar Gurukal (pujari) with harathi the morning program comes to an end.

The priest requested amma’s darshan, Amma immediately called and enquired about his health and family.  Amma finally materialized the vebhudhi and assured all his problems will be solved…

Amma plays with us like Sri Krishna ….. Due to Lalitha homam we didn’t have a nap in the afternoon. When we (Pida garu & Shankar) checked Amma was not in the bed then we checked in wash room, there was light in the wash room, so we thought Amma was taking bath, we have waited for a long time…… To have coffee we came down Amma preparing green chilli bajji to kids & vegetable dosa.

Everyone had a bite of Vegetable dosa and expressed that it was so good than pizza.  By tasting bajji, everyone’s expression changed ,started drinking few liters of water….few photos followed below

May 28, 2016 – Evening started with puja. Amma came down and seated, looked around the arrangement for the puja. Sriharry started the puja after Amma approval and Kumkum puja to Srichakram by women devotees.

Special program arranged for Amma. Carnatic singer Navapreetha sang wonderful Carnatic songs and taken away everybody into another world. Amma deeply impressed by the words in the song. She sang Thyagaraja keerthans.

This was followed by master Sivagpra to another level. He sang and taken everybody from hell (worldly undesirable intention) to heaven. Amma so pleased and the words can’t express when he had a darshan of Amma.

Night dinner arranged for special devotees Navpreetha, Sivagpra, Chandran, Malinda airlines CEO. Amma fed everybody by cracking jokes. All devotee s enjoyed the divine play. Amma played with Srinath by feeding him 8 vada and payasam (sweet soup)…. we all laughing such a way the roof about to blown out.

Amma showered Sathya, an Iran boy who was with Sathya Sai Baba. Chants Vedam very clearly and accurately with a 108 black color seed mala. He was not in a position to understand Amma’s divine play. The divine play ends for the day. Hope this will continue forever.

Also, Fafa’s son received veebhudi from Amma.

The day end with Vadapra sai, and Sivoham melodious songs by SS3,  Sriharry family and other devotees……..at 11.45pm……

May 29, 2016 – Morning started with Amma blessing Aji with veebhudi.

Amma blessed her with veedhudi on 2nd time.

The day started with vedam chanting by SS3 group, followed by bajans.

We all immersed in bajans with Amma by leaving our problems at door steps…….. and Amma only help us ……..by Divine blessings……. (accept our refugee status at her  lotus feet)…..

Morning puja ended with a mangalaharathi!

Amma after morning breakfast asked Sriharry kids what they need. Finally all agreed sweet soup (payasam/khir). It was so delicious; it can’t be explained with words. While preparing Amma throw a mala on Ganesh (Ambica’s brother). We could see some object flying from Amma’s hand (split second) it landed on his neck. He was surprised. Everyone ran towards him to see it. What a wonderful day.

The morning section ends with fantastic food…

From 4.30 pm onward a steady stream of  devotees started to flow in from different parts KL (about 2 to 3 hours journey) to see Amma.  For all those visiting Sriharry house, all facilities were arranged so they leave spiritually with no hunger.

The SS3 bajan culminated with mangala harathi. At the end of the program the entire hall is full of devotees. Some of the old devotees who came to see Amma are also called by Amma and enquirer about their health and family status. After Amma darshan we can see bright sun shine face. All are happy…..

Delicious food served to Amma along with many devotees. After the dinner Amma asked do you have any questions. Many devotees asked questions to have clarity. Some important message from Amma is “The purpose of life is not to live, earn, comfort, etc. You have defined work in this word is to serve others. Create an opportunity to others so they live happily”.

Meanwhile Amma called Seljend, who played tabala in Carnatic music and materialized a Sivalingam for him and told that as long as this is with you wealth and happiness will be with you. He was so happy and he never expected that Amma will shower her with blessings…..

May 30, 2016 – Morning started with Veda mantras by Sriharry daughters who chant Vedam very clearly at this younger age. Amma was so pleased and told very happy the way they chant the mantras.

Again, Amma started preparing afternoon lunch special for kids. Whatever prepared by Amma is served to all and nothing leftover. A group of women devotees watching Amma’s play and concludes on what Amma is making, but you all know, with Amma’s magic hand the outcome was a different dish that no one is expected. All are confused. Everyone tasted them and no words express. Whatever prepared tasted and no words.

Meanwhile after lunch, Amma prepared mango pickle. The preparation process followed as per Amma’s direction. The room filled with aroma of cut mango pickle. It was ready for everyone to have it in tonight’s dinner. No words to explain.

Meanwhile devotees got veebhudi. No words to express. Sriharry is the blessed soul to get it along with other devotees.

May 30, 2016 – Evening program started with kumkum puja.

Evening program was filled with SS3 Nathan group bajans, followed by violin by Sriram.

Evening puja concluded with Mr. Chandran CEO of Malinda airline giving mangala harathi.

May 31, 2016 – Day started with puja by Sriharry followed by bajans and mangala harathi. Devotee’s had breakfast with Amma followed by a sathsung. Amma answered all questions with examples so all people can able to understand easily. Amma suddenly materialized a crystal chain in split second for Kishore. No words, feast to eyes.

Mahendran got double dhamaka from Amma. See his 1000 sun rays on his face.

May 31, 2016 – Evening session started with puja followed by kumkum puja by men, rendered beautiful bajans and concluded with Mangala harathi.

Everyone assembled for a dinner along with Amma and an impromptu sathsung, during that Amma called few devotees and materialized veebhudi. Devotees were unable to understand what Amma is doing. June 01, 2016 – Day started with puja followed by bajans from SS3 group and concluded with mangala harathi

June 01, 2016 – Evening started with puja followed by bajans and Mangala harathi.

It’s very difficult to say goodbye, as all know Amma is traveling back to Ashram tomorrow morning 6:30 AM. Sriharry’s family was emotional as the trip coming to an end.

Steady flow of devotees as this would be a last day of darshan as Amma’s Malaysia trip concludes. Today Amma narrated many stories to devotees.

Muthu Kumar Gurukal (pujari) considered as number one priest in KL came with his daughter, Lalithambal for Amma’s darshan. Amma materialized veebhudi for Lalithambal and blessed Muthu Kumar Gurukal with a garland.

June 02, 2016 AM – An emotional day for all devotee’s since Amma leaving Sriharry house.

Why fear when I am here

We have proceeded to KL airport with few devotees, as the time passes many devotees came to KL airport. It was amazing to see all and their hearts and eyes filled with emotional feelings. Amma asked the gathered devotee’s any questions. Amma narrated Sita birth in detailed and why Draupadi had 5 husbands. Later on we have proceeded towards immigration on the ground floor. All devotees followed Amma.  No words to express the bond between Amma and devotees. We also feel the same. We could able to see tears in their faces. After immigration clearance, Amma came back to say goodbye. All devotees were still there to have the last glance of their beloved Amma.

Amma reached Chennai airport and drove back to Asharm. This  concludes Amma visit of Malaysia.

April 22, 2016 – Satsang with Amma at Smt Bindu & Sri Balaji Reddy’s (Balaji Surikapuram) home in Dublin, California

We arrived a bit early in the evening and that gave Amma the love of his life — being at play with the children. As much as these sessions look like playing games with children, one can see how intense Amma is in wanting these children to get grounded in their great heritage through stories of Ramayana, and parables. Amma does this in a wonderful way through games, puzzles and riddles bringing out their natural tendencies for competition and fun. Loud laughter is the resounding reflection that the children are having a good time, and Amma is not far behind.

Bindu & Balaji’s son whom Amma endearingly calls “Budda Balaji” (little Balaji) joins the fun and games.

Before the scheduled evening Amma made a brief visit to the Puja Room of the family. Amma asked everyone to leave, closed the doors behind and when Amma emerged out of the room, there was a heap if the sacred Vibhuti on the Altar. To add to the intrigue there was no residue of Vibhuti on Amma’s hands — it shall remain as another Divine Mystery. By now we have concluded that nothing is impossible to the Divine, and stopped guessing what other “creative” creations are up the sleeve

As the devotees gathered the evening started with the scheduled Paada Puja followed by melodious bhajans, and Arathi. A very memorable evening for the family.

 

 

Vishala & Ramaraju Poranki of Dublin, California brought special garlands to adorn their Beloved Amma, and in turn Amma garlanded the devout couple. 

Amma is tireless and patient in teaching her children around the world on various aspects of spiritual life and inspire one and all to make sincere efforts towards personal spiritual advancement.

The Reddy’s lead Amma to a private room upstairs where they served special delicacies that “Bindu” prepared (no credit given to Balaji, except as a taste panel). And we all enjoyed our dinner downstairs while reminiscing Amma’s love and leelas with each other.

And the visit ended with Amma taking a stroll in the backyard of the Reddy’s home.

April 22, 2016 – Satsang with Amma at Smt Lalitha & Sri Gunasekharan’s home in Santa Clara, California.

The Gunasekharans welcomed Amma into their home with the traditional Poorna Kumbham and wasted no time to get the Paada Puja program underway. There was a flood of devotees that crowded up to get a peek at Amma. Amma for her part took time to walk around and bless every part of the home as the hosts followed.

Following the Paada Puja the Gunasekharans daughter sang a beautiful Carnatic melody.

 

Our Amma is a special Avatar indeed, the One who can recite her own closing chants and offerings. I have seen many a priest in the temple worship programs are awestruck with Amma’s intricate knowledge of the ritual aspects of a wide range of pujas and homas; in a way some of them are even fearful when Amma points out errors and inaccuracies in their procedures, which happens often. For us this is yet another opportunity to realize that Amma is the beginning and the end, the very source of all knowledge.

Amma walks into the Gunasekharans’ Puja Room. Earlier during the Paada Puja program Lalitha appealed to Amma that they would like to chant Rudram. Because of time limitation   that could not be accommodated. But the merciful Amma more than compensated Lalitha’s wish by creating a beautiful black Siva Lingam overwhelming Lalitha into tears of joy.
