April 12, 2016 PM — Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home at Livermore, California; as they say “meanwhile back at the ranch”… Amma was welcomed with Poorna Kumbham by Sri Srinivasachari garu, along with Smt. Lakshmi Pyda (Sri Srinivas Pyda’s sister-in-law), and few other devotees.
Amma will remain until the day of departure on April 25th to India. You may recall that upon arrival on the February 18th Amma began the US visit staying at Sri Pyda’s home and the visit will also conclude at his home.
Everything was set ready at Pyda’s home for making this last leg of Amma’s stay in the USA very festive and memorable; preparations were already underway for the biggest upcoming celebration of Sri Ramanavami on the 14th of April.

The satsang of the first evening that Amma returned to the Bay Area brought many devotees who missed Amma during the two weeks that Amma stayed in the Central valley. After the evening worship program Amma was happy to bless the assembly with a talk on “Surrender” (Sharanagathi); before starting the talk Amma went around asking each one present on their own understanding of tge subject.

April 13, 2016 PM — Evening worship program was followed by the melodious Bhajans
What followed next was Amma’s nectarine words on the subject of “Detachment”. These are the rare occasions and opportunities that cannot be captured well on any media, picture or audio; you should be there in person to experience it and grasp it.
Following the Bhajan session a real surprise awaited Srushti, the young daughter of Chandna & Srinivas Talluri. As Amma left to the private room upstairs Amma signaled Srushti to follow and once in the room the familiar circular creative motion started and a beautiful ring with a Ruby an Blue diamonds manifested. Amma blew on the ring a couple of times to resize the ring to make it a perfect fit for Srushti’s finger. Amma said to Srushti, “you were thinking all the time — when will Amma bless me with something”. Amma is no mind reader, he is the “Antharyami” the indweller of our heart that knows us through and through. Amma then put the ring on Srushti’s finger and tapped on her finger one last time to assure a good fit; a true lifetime blessing for Srushti at such an young age.
What followed next was a series of Amma’s astounding miraculous creations — felt like the Holi festival the only difference was that it was the shower of Vibhuti and Kumkum (Vermillion).
As Amma finished having the dinner, Amma asked for water to drink. Sri Srinivas Pyda garu faithfully filled a glass with water and handed it to Lakshmi who was serving dinner to Amma. Amma barely took a couple of sips, when suddenly Amma said to Lakshmi, “Is this how you serve water?” And asked her to spread the upper part of her saree (pyta) and started to empty the glass — Lo! and Behold! What came out was not water, but loads of Kumkum; Amma then called Pyda garu who promptly brought a plate to receive the remaining loot. The Pyda’s had the day, all in the family! Later Amma called out for few devotees and what came for them was large amounts of the Vibhuti; at least three different flavors/scents and two different colors; blessings galore!
April 14, 2016 AM — The regular morning worship program proceeded as scheduled at Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home in Livermore, California. But everyone was scurrying around making preparations for the biggest event of the day, and the second major celebration during Amma’s visit– Sri Ramanavami. The program included Sri Rama & Sitha Devi Kalyana Mahotsavam, Vivaha Bhojanam, Sri Rama Pattabhishekam, Pallaki Seva (Ooregimpu), Satsang followed by Mahaprasad.
The morning started aright for Smt Shobha Talapaneni on the most auspicious day of Sri Ramanavami with Amma blessing her by creating the sacred Kamalatmaka Mala. Amma has a special loving relationship with Shobha with Amma always making fun of her unique Nellore slang. What a blessing on this auspicious day!

April 15, 2016 — Evening worship program and Bhajans at Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home in Livermore, California.
After the evening of melodious Bhajans Amma called Joanne and Jerry Pesce of Santa Cruz, California to join him in the private room for dinner. As they both entered Amma’s room a real miracle unfolded right in front of their eyes. I will let the Pesces narrate the blessed event they witnessed; unfortunately in all the excitement no one caught it in camera.
“When allowed to take padmanaskar downstairs, Amma put Her hand to my nose for me to smell a wonderful fragrance emanating from her hand. After moving upstairs Amma asked for us (joanne + jerry) and a few others that had entered the room to put out our hands, by this time several people were also in the room. Amma took a silver drinking glass and began to pour large quantities of a very fragrant vibhuti into our hands and cloths. Copious amounts of Vibhuti poured from the glass, enough that would fill several glasses. She ended up placing the glass on upturned hands and popping the bottom of the glass and even more vibhuti poured forth! This vibhuti had the fragrance that was on Her hand downstairs! Amma then manifested additional vibhuti from Her hand for a few others that had an entirely different fragrance. This ended with all our joyful faces smeared with the vibhuti coating by Amma’s hands!”
For those who are curious on what kind of drinking water glass it was that produced this large quantity of this magnificent Vibhuti , it is the same old silver tumbler that Amma uses regularly; and it is the same one from which Amma also created large amounts of the Kumkum, a couple of days ago.

The night ended with a very enlightening satsang with Amma, with Amma giving straight answers to many burning questions from the devotees, bringing clarity to a wide range of spiritual concepts and addressing life’s challenges. In these sessions Amma comes across as a taskmaster with tough message imploring the devotees into action to practice the spiritual ideals
April 16, 2016 — Morning worship program at Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home in Livermore, California.
The morning worship just began when Premalatha Epuru of Atlanta, Georgia went upstairs to Amma’s room to seek Amma’s blessings as she was returning home that morning. Sure enough blessings she did receive, after few enquiries about family etc., as Amma created a long beautiful black Kamalatmaka Maala. Taken by surprise Premalatha was beaming with joy as Amma put it around her neck and explained as to how to use it and its worldly and spiritual benefits.
After the morning worship was over, Amma lead a group of women devotees to the Paakashaala (kitchen) to make the delicacy for the day — a pickle using the leaves of drumstick, mint and coriander.
What I observed and learnt traveling around with Amma is that Amma is very adept in making pickles out of anything — no vegetable or fruit is exempt ???
And, there is a watch out too for those devotees who do not value or seem to continue to ignore Amma’s guidance and advice, Amma gets tough with them and then they would feel that they are in real pickle.?
The small kitchen was overcrowded with eager volunteers to assist Amma in making the pickle; I am sure that no one will be rushing in to help if someone else other than Amma is leading. We should all have the same zeal to respond to Amma’s clarion call to lead a dharmic life, and sincerely follow Amma’s guidance for spiritual practice.?
And the there was a small band of devotees who were preparing lunch in the makeshift kitchen located in the garage.?
While many of the women devotees were busy with food preparation the remaining devotees were engaged some sort of spiritual dialogue trying to “enlighten” each other.
Meanwhile Amma snuck out of the home with a small group of lucky devotees for a refreshing walk in the walking trail of the park that bordered Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home. Being a nature lover and a wanderer (of course being Divine) Amma has amazing knowledge of flowers, herbal plants and trees that Amma shared with us, comparing and contrasting with those in India, as we followed Amma on the trail.???
Amma also blessed the group by creating that trademark Vibhuti with a distinct tantalizing fragrance which lingers for a longtime. It was truly a special blessing for Prakash Mama (member of Amma’s entourage) who was returning to India a little layer in the day. Amma made it even more memorable by smearing the Vibhuti and fully covering Prakash’s face. We all challenged Prakash to keep his face unwashed as he proceeds to the airport. Although he boasted that he was ready and daring, he is smart enough to know that in this age of high security at the airports he won’t make it without drawing suspicion ?

There were two sessions of Satsang with Amma, one that preceded the evening worship and the other that was held after the bhajan and bhojan (dinner). Because of the weekend these Satsangs were well attended. Most who attended felt that these were some of the Amma’s most impactive messages and advice — now, the only question that remains is how many of us truly prepared to take it to heart and apply in our lives.?

Amma has graciously entered the Paakashaala (kitchen) to prepare two delicacies for lunch – a leafy curry (Thotakura-bacchalikura pulusu) and the mouthwatering mushroom curry.?
As they say, time fly’s. It felt that Amma just arrived and the time for Amma to head-back to India is just around the corner, exactly a week from now on April 25, 2016. When I realized that it is just a week left, like everyone else I am in the midst of emotions of denial, dread, and pangs of separation. In a way Amma has blessed us immensely in making an extended visit to be with the US devotees. It is for us to reflect as to how much effort we have made to visit Amma and partake the Divine messages, prasad, and get soaked in Amma’s ocean of Love.????

As I said sometime ago it gets harder to keep up with posting current events when we are constantly on the run going to satsangs everyday to different devotees’ homes. But, so as not to miss the current excitement and news around Amma, I am going to post today’s events before sharing those of last couple of days.?

After the morning worship all of us followed Amma to the Paakashaala (kitchen) knowing that there will be mouthwatering creations by the Creator. Amma started with a leafy curry and Garlic pickle, but the real surprise was yet to come.???
Amidst the hectic activity of cooking where everyone is helping each other and assisting Amma, Amma surprised everyone by rapidly stirring a brass bowl with the hand asking who wants a puri. Obviously everyone stretched out their hand and what they received was that familiar fragrant vVbhuti. There was enough to go around for everyone and their faces got smeared too with the Vibhuti by Amma.???????

After the morning worship program was just concluded, Smt. Shobha Talapaneni entered with a large Vada- Maala (a garland made with the savory called Vada). Amma graciously obliged to receive it.
And now the honor goes to the rose?
Amma wears this attire frequently at the Ashram (although the color of the dhoti may be somewhere between Saffron and Peach). Today Amma was demonstrating this to a few ladies who plan to embark on a special Puja so that they can wear for the Puja.
April 23, 2016 AM — Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home at Livermore, California.???
The morning puja went on as usual, and there was a steady stream of devotees visiting to take have the blessed Darshan of Amma in the limited time left before Amma leaves to India.???
Mohini Dhanikonda prepared a beautiful Vada-Mala, and along with her daughter Vaishnavi garlanded Amma with it. Of course we all enjoyed the delicacy???
Being a Saturday with no school many young children gathered around Amma to have the “holy fun”; Amma readily engaged them in “hide-and-seek”, and the children loved it.??
For the One who is God (Amma) who is an expert in the real “hide-and seek” with all of us this may be the favorite game. Last night at a different venue Amma also played with the kids the game of “Finding Rama” which involved kids randomly picking chits wth names of the characters of Ramayana on them and the one who picked the chit with Sitha’s name guessing who has the chit with Rama. Wherea the kids were successful to varying degrees, Amma guessed (?) correctly every time in identifying the Rama’s character. The kids had a blast with that too?
The fun continued…
Balancing the flower on the head is no big deal for the One who balanced the whole earth in the Varaha (Boar) Avatar of Vishnu??
There is always a touch of class with Amma whether fashions a flower or a pair of “cooling glasses” over the head???
Like the earthly mother who makes all the favorite dishes for its child when the child is leaving home or vice versa, since yesterday Amma was frantically busy preparing pickles and specialty powder mixes and made sure that they are promptly distributed.??

Amma not only made the pickle but lovingly mixed some with rice and generous amount of ghee (clarified butter) and served all the devotees in attendence.?
Late in the afternoon a wonderful surprise awaited Dr. Shobha Sharma, a practicing Physician from Dublin California. As she sat at Amma’s Lotus Feet in Amma’s room upstairs, Amma started to press his left foot hard against the foot-pillow and continued to grind producing copious amounts of that familiar fragrant Vibhuti. Amma let Shobha gather much of the Vibhuti that manifested, and others nearby lunged forward to collect some as well. There was a frantic search for a suitable cloth to take Amma’s footprint, and as no one was successful, Amma herself went hopping into the closet to bring one. Shobha promptly took home the cloth the sacred Vibhuti print of Amma’s foot for safe keeping; so unfortunately no photo of the precious cloth were taken. Having the presence of mind, my wife Prasuna grabbed the pillow cover itself on which Amma created the Vibhuti and has Amma leave a foot print on it as well for our keepsake memories. ???
The well attended evening bhajan program brought that elevating devotional atmosphere filled with over pouring love for Amma. For some it was also the feeling of sadness from the realization that their Beloved Amma will not be amidst them beyond 48 hours.???
And it is time to catch the candy from the Divine Hands which made it a sport making people guessing as to which direction that Amma will throw the candy. Along the way some received the candy right on their head and Amma also practiced target shooting the Tabla drums with candy, and very successfully so.?
Amma also threw Vadas from the Vada-Maala offered to Amma.
Just a few minutes after the dinner Amma especially blessed the Goel family whom Amma called out the day before to bring dinner and serve him. The Goels were thrilled beyond words for their good fortune to serve Amma with dinner, and Amma now paid them back with overwhelming love by creating Vibhuti in a very special way — by striking hard with his palm on the serving tray, grinding and pulverizing to make large amounts of Vibhuti. There was enough Vibhuti to go around for everyone present and their faces reflected it too as Amma smeared them with it. Amma branded me forehead and head with the full hand print — now I truly belong to Amma?

The evening is still young. There was more production of Vibhuti; two more unique large productions, and three more from the typical circular motion of the hand.
As Amma stood up after dinner, and walked onto the carpet at the foot of the bed, Amma started to press hard with the left foot and there was enough for everyone to walk away with a fistful of that trademark fragrant Vibhuti. Now, having some experience with this unique manifestation of Vibhuti, few devotees grabbed the opportunity to take Amma’s Vibhuti footprints. ???
The kids bonded with Amma at many levels as Amma spent much quality time with them, teaching them about Characters from Ramayana through quizzes and riddles, and playing sportive games bringing much laughter and joy. And, I am sure catching candy from Amma would remain as another memorable event for the children. These are truly blessed young souls to have such intimacy with the Lord, and they would sorely miss Amma when Amma leaves on the 25th.
The children were very happy to smear themselves with the Vibhuti residue left on the carpet.?❤
Wonder if these were the all renouncing sages and mendicants in their past lives who used to smear their bodies with ashes wandering the length and breadth of India.??
The three other creations of Vibhuti were made by Amma especially for three devotees; and, specifically called each them out come forward from the crowd to receive the blessings..
The final creation of the large amount of Vibhuti was created for Sanjeev of Austin, Texas, and Bhuvan of Dublin, California. I am very inspired by their love and dedication to serve Amma and Amma’s Mission, and am one of their admirers. By the time Amma was done with all the Vibhuti creations Amma was truly perspiring and requested to have the fan turned on, and had me holding one end of the upper cloth to air-dry. Amma then asked me to go and call Sanjeev and Bhuvan. As both of them entered Amma’s room, Amma quickly folded a corner of the upper cloth and started beating it with the palm and grinding it on the bed. The lucky winners Sanjeev and Bhuvan received equal quantity of the precious fragrant loot.
I quipped, “Amma you turned up the production of Vibhutu.” Amma’s response was that at an early age of 7 Amma was creating loads of Vibhuti, astonishing everyone. For me, it is a true byproduct of our outpouring love to Amma; and the best way Amma knows how to reflect her love towards us. So, keep that love coming if you want more Vibhuti!!! ???
April 24, 2016 AM — Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home at Livermore, California.???
The morning worship started as usual but today it is not business as usual as the gathering is much larger; and that’s because of the late realization that today is the last full day of Amma’s stay with us.
Only in time we will realize what a great privilege we had to receive such love and blessings from Amma and enjoy such Divine proximity. In those precious days Amma stayed with us, Amma talked to us, listened to our life’s challenges, consoled us with compassionate words of love, walked with us, played with us, cooked for us, and made us laugh showering that boundless Motherly Love. Let us pray and live following Amma’s loving teachings and guidance to claim boldly that we are her children.????
Before I post the pictures of this morning’s Puja program, let me share the shower of blessings that Gita and Ashwin Goel received from Amma, quite early in the morning; bad analogy, but just like “the early bird gets the worm”.?

“We were overwhelmed this morning with the love Amma has showered on us. Before breakfast this morning Amma asked Gita to come and said you are my daughter and my family. Amma then materialized a beautiful ring for her and blew on it so it fits her finger. Then Amma asked me to join them and materialized a beautiful shiva lingam with blessings for success. We are truly overwhelmed and do not have words to express the gratitude and love we feel for Amma.?❤

Devotees are getting very creative not only with floral garlands but also with the food garlands. Until now the Maalas (garlands) of food been primarily made of the savory Vada. Today, the Samineni family brought the Laddu Maala. And a few minutes later Pallavi and Raghu Reddy from Stockton brought the Cherry Maala. I guess we are all getting a balanced diet???
Shobha and Venkat of Cupertino brought the lovely roses to adorn their Beloved Amma.?
And the lucky winner to receive the Amma’s love of Laddu Maala is Sanjeev of Austin, Texas. He was let go having to eat only 5 ofvthe laddus and distribute the rest of them to the devotees in attendance.?

Musical chairs brings that joyous festive mood to children and adults alike, particularly when Amma is the conductor of the game??
Joanne and Jerry Pesce of Caramel, California whose hearts are always brimming with the joy of Amma’s love are elated to receive the precious crystal necklaces; which Amma had them to put on for each other saying that they match the color of their dresses.??
And then came Manik Dhar with his daughter and son for blessings and guidance. Amma had a very clear and pointed message to both the children to focus on studies and keep good company. And, comforted Manik saying that he will guide and protect them; and in a moment created the sacred Siva Linga and told him that it will aid in protecting his health.??
Yesterday was another blessed day for Manik and Meenakshi who celebrated their marriage anniversary in the Divine Presence.??
Now it was the turn of Manik’s mom whom Amma fondly calls “Jagadamba” who came with her daughter Mani Kak seeking Amma’s blessings. Amma was very complimentary to Jagadamba for the way she brought up all her children with culture (samskar). Amma also assured to protect all her family and her health, and created Vibhuti for her and Mani. Amma also created a beautiful Siva Linga for her eldest son who was unable to visit because of his business commitments; it is similar to the one that Amma gave to her younger son Manik earlier today. Jagadamba was overjoyed with the shower of blessings, particularly as she was desiring in her heart of hearts for the Siva Linga for her eldest son; and the mother’s wish was fulfilled by the Mother of the Universe.???
Amma enters the crowded kitchen to add spice and speed to the culinary creations. Tomato Soggi was the item of today’s focus. After the preparation Amma had it mixed with rice and lovingly fed the devotees.?
While in the kitchen Amma also let MN to smell the lingering fragrance of Vibhuti from the hands.
And then it happened again — massive creation of Vibhuti. Although Vanajakshi Naidu of Pleasanton, California was the primary beneficiary, everyone present was blessed with some.??
Here are a couple of things I didn’t find time to share from yesterday?
Latha and Venkatesh Kandaswamy of San Ramon, California have been bringing every morning various fruit juices to offer to Amma over the last couple of days. Although you see Latha giving the juice to Amma the real maker of these delicious juices is the silent and humble worker behind the scene is her husband Venkatesh.???
Before the evening Bhajans got started Amma called in Manish of Elk Grove and blessed him by creating large amounts of the sacred fragrant Vibhuti by pressing and grinding the foot on the pillow at the feet.??
The evening Bhajans were well attended as the realization came to many that this would be the last opportunity to be with Amma on this visit until Amma returns in late June.?
Early in the evening there was the last minute rush to see Amma and a sort of family get together as the reality dawned on everyone that Amma will be leaving in less than 24 hours.?
Amma showered special blessings on Sri Seshagiri Rao (Amma’s entourage and distinguished scholar in scriptures who rendered great service in conducting daily worship programs) and his wife Indira who just arrived from India.?
Joined by his daughter Bindu, son-in-law Suresh Mantrala and grandchildren.❤
April 25, 2016 AM — Sri Srinivas Pyda’s home at Livermore, California.???
The final morning worship program — a cloud of dejection and sadness hung over the assembly of devotees with the realization that Amma’s departure to India is only hours away. Amma commented that the atmosphere looked so gloomy as if the daughter is leaving to the in-laws’ home after marriage. Amma was equally moved and seen wiping away tears watching the devotees’ pangs of separation. Amma kept assuring that Amma will always remain with them.??
Earlier this morning Amma met Ratan and Uma (amma calls them Ratan Lal and Uma Laland blessed them with much success for their dedicated effort in building the Shiva-Vishnu temple in Stockton, California. Amma also had special surprise blessings for the devout couple. Amma took out the saree from the sofa chair where Amma was seated and dropped in Uma’s lap. Uma immediately noticed that it was heavier than usual and her suspicions were right on; the saree was filled with large amount of kumkum (vermillon). I appealed on behalf of Ratan, and Amma blessed him with Vibhuti.?

I just received a call from Amma and Shyam that they have safely reached Dubai. Unfortunately tge connection was too weak to have much of a conversation. I am sure that the connection time is too short and they will be headed to India shortly.
Meanwhile at the Ashram the devotees’ excitement cannot be contained for they will be seeing Amma after a long 9 week absence. They spruced up the Ashram by putting up buntings of Mango leaves (thoranam) over the door of Amma’s residence, and decorating the front with beautiful Rangoli.???
Amma has safely landed at the Chennai airport and is currently headed to the Ashram in Naidupet along with Ching Baba, and Sri Sitharamaiah garu who came to pick up Amma.????

The first part of the evening program was an offering of couple of beautiful Carnatic Classicals by the very talented Talluri children.
The Talluris made sure that Amma’s Abhaya-hasta (blessing hand) is always with them by taking an imprint of Amma’s hand — clever indeed!
